Font - I already have three adult cats; keeping all the kittens means I would have eight cats. Logically I KNOW that sounds insane, but I really don't know how I could ever give them away! (I mean emotionally - I have several friends and colleagues who have said they would like one...but god I would just worry about them and miss them so much!!) and I wouldn't even know where to begin about picking and choosing which one(s) to keep!! My heart hurts. ps: my two adult male cats are neutered and ma

Font - littleliongirless +2.5 days ago I rescued a pregnant stray and she had 5 too. The only thing that talked me out of keeping all of them was Mama herself. Once she started weaning, she hated at least 3/5 of them. I DID keep the two she loved the most, but her annoyance at all 5 descending upon her, like running away from them and constantly hissing at them to stop trying to bite her nipples with their sharp little baby teeth, made the decision to find homes for the other 3 sooooo much easie

Font - xzelldx +2.4 days ago This. She's in mom mode now but as soon as those goblins get older she's going to want her space back. Also you're looking at a few hundred dollars to get them all fixed. And they will all want attention and get jealous because you only have so attention to give. Maybe keep mamas favorite when that time comes, bit I bet by then you'll want space too. Reply Share 1.6k ...

Font - cupcakesordeath · 4 days ago I watched the neighborhood feral cat toss her sons to the side when they were of age. I mean, she was mean. So I adopted them. Eventually, I brought her inside and fixed her. Wasn't sure how she was going to do with her kids again but beat leaving her outside. She is in love with them again. Meows when she can't see them. She's a tiny stalker. Hormones are insane.

Font - chairmanbrando 4 days ago I saw somewhere you can expect to pay about $300 to $1500 per year per cat. Dogs are even higher but not that much worse. Over their lifetime that's a lot of dough! If you can't easily afford that, you really shouldn't stack your house up with pets. Kids are expensive, but pet buddies can be expensive too!

Font - OneMorePenguin. 4 days ago Vet bills.... Just food and litter alone would be pretty high. I have four. They each eat two cans of Fancy Feast per day. I go through 30 lbs of litter a week (not sure, just guessing, I buy 40 lb bags). That's $1870 per year (tax is 10%), or about $500 per cat. Can't forget the Churu and Greenies. The annual vet visit is $1000 for the four of them. Two are older and get senior blood panels. One just had dental work with two extractions and that was $1157. That
